Tan Hongxu

Tan Hongxu: Pen name Zishi, born in 1957 in Xi'an, the ancient capital of thirteen dynasties Shaanxi. A renowned Chinese ink and brush artist, currently serving as a National Gift Artist, member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Association, member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, council member of the Shaanxi Calligraphy and Painting Association, and member of the Shandong Province Calligraphy and Painting Association. In the past three years, he has won eighteen major awards in calligraphy and painting, including eleven gold medals, as well as numerous certificates for first prizes, excellence awards, and top hundred honors. Many of his works have been included in the "Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Encyclopedia" and the "Annual Record of Chinese Cultural Treasures," and he has received honorary titles such as "Outstanding Meritorious Artist" and "Leading Figure in Chinese Calligraphy and Painting."
