       Zhang Chuanzhong, male, born in September 1962, is from Jinan, Shandong Province, and a member of the Jinan Nanhu Yulu Academy of Calligraphy and Painting.

       Since childhood, he has been fond of calligraphy and painting, initially instructed by his grandfather, later becoming a disciple of Ding Jianguo and Wang Zongjian, receiving meticulous teaching. For many years, he has been devoted to the art of calligraphy and painting, studying the masters of antiquity. In his spare time, he practices daily, striving for movement within stillness and novelty within simplicity. Living amid the mountains, he remains true to himself, driven by passion and dedicating his leisure time to artistic creation.

       His ink paintings have been exhibited and awarded numerous times at national, provincial, and municipal calligraphy and painting exhibitions. His works have been included in publications such as Contemporary Famous Artists and Masterpieces Calligraphy and Painting Encyclopedia, National Teachers and Students Fine Arts Competition, and Collection of Masterpieces of Calligraphers and Painters of the Cross-Century.

       He is currently teaching at Aixin Charity Primary School and serves as the instructor for Chinese painting for the school’s students.
       In 1998, 17 of his students’ works won first, second, and third prizes in the Third Fine Arts Competition hosted by China Out-of-School Education.
       In 1999, 28 of his students’ works received “Excellent Award” in the “Century Star” Fine Arts Competition hosted by the People’s Daily Press, and he was awarded the “Outstanding Mentor” award.
       In 2000, his ink painting “Mashan Scenery” was collected by the People’s Daily Press, and he was honored with the title “World Chinese Artist.”
       His work “Clouds and Water, Zen Mind” won the Third Prize in the National Third Ink Painting and Calligraphy Competition in 2018.
       In 2019, he joined Zhenji.com, with several of his works collected by art collectors.
       In 2019, he was honored with the title “Practitioner of the Revival of Chinese Culture on the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China.”
       In 2021, he received the honorary certificate of “Top 100 Influential Chinese Artists in China’s Brand.”
