Yuan Lixin, styled Boyang, art name Yixun, also known as Chengya Studio, was born in Zhangjiakou in 1967 and raised in the鹿城 of Baotou. He is a professional painter and calligrapher, as well as an inheritor of paper-cutting art.
Since childhood, he has studied under the late art educator and painter Mr. Lan Shanglian and the painter and calligrapher Mr. Liang Chenghui (Zhi Rou). He integrates poetry, painting, calligraphy, and seal carving into one, and has devoted many years to art education and creation. His ink paintings, especially flower-and-bird subjects, reflect deep immersion in traditional Chinese culture; he has diligently pursued brush and ink, achieving modest accomplishments.

He has participated in numerous large-scale charitable donation and charity sale events, and his works have been collected by news media and overseas international friends. In 1987, his work "The Wife of Chen Ding" was exhibited in the North China Five Provinces and Cities Comic Strip Tour and was collected. In 1990, he participated in the First China National Folk Paper-Cutting Competition, and his work was exhibited and collected at the Beijing Contemporary Art Museum. In 1991, he participated in the Metallurgical Ministry Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition in Beijing. In 2014, he received the Outstanding Organization and Tutoring Award in the Baotou "Haoyoudu Cup" Children's Calligraphy and Painting Competition. From 2014 to 2017, he won the Gold Medal and Silver Medal for Outstanding Organization and Tutoring in the World Children's Calligraphy and Painting Competition for four consecutive years. In July 2014, he personally went to Ordos City to guide a large-scale bronze relief sculpture, earning affirmation from leaders at all levels. In 2015, his work was included in the "Chinese Art Dream Network Biographical Directory" and collected. In 2016, his calligraphy work "Five, Three: Witnessed Still Fresh" won the Second Prize in the Baotou City "Commemorating the 20th Anniversary of the Earthquake" Calligraphy and Painting Selection Contest and was collected. On January 25, 2017, his work was included in the "Baotou Paper-Cutting Collection" published by China Fine Arts Publishing House and collected. On June 4, 2017, six ink paintings and six poems were invited to be included in the Hebei publication "Mingshui Poetry Garden." In December 2017, his work "Autumn Rhythm" was exhibited at the Baotou City Art Museum as part of the "Chinese Painting Exhibition."On January 9, 2018, his wood carving work, accompanied by an original poem, was included in the "2018 Players' Spiritual Resonance Anthology." In 2018, he received the Outstanding Tutor Award in the Calligraphy and Painting Category at the 15th "Xingxing Huoju" National Youth Art Talent Selection Activity.
