Ren Wei

Ren Wei, from Shenyang, Liaoning. Member of the Liaoning Youth Artists Association, founder of the Dreamlike School. In 1996, he established his personal studio, Da Tie Zhui, in Dongling, Shenyang. In 2007, he held the contemporary art exhibition "Dream Space" at his personal studio. In 2010, he won the Gold Prize at the Taipei International Art Competition. In 2010, he held the solo contemporary art exhibition "The Other Side of the Sensory World" at the Silde Gallery in the 798 Art Zone, Beijing. In 2011, the oil painting "Dreamy Strawberry" was selected for inclusion in the large-scale art publication "China Fine Arts Yearbook 2001–2010". In 2011, the oil painting "Free Sugar Gourd" won the International Excellence Award at the 13th World Chinese Art Congress. In 2011, the oil paintings "Strawberry Sister" and "Dreamy Pomegranate" were selected as works by professional artists for the "Chengdu, China · 2011 National Artist Nomination Exhibition".
