Personal Profile

Xu Daoyou, male, Han nationality, known as Fushoutang, from Fushun, serves as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Fushun Lei Feng Painting and Calligraphy Academy, a member of the Fushun Handicrafts and Arts Industry Association, and a member of the Fushun Collectors Association. He has participated multiple times in Fushun’s handicraft exhibitions. His representative works include pyrography gourds, portraits of Lei Feng, and inscriptions by Mao Zedong, all of which have been donated to the Lei Feng Memorial Hall. He has also taken part in various art exhibitions in Fushun. Since childhood, he has been fond of painting, later shifting his focus to pyrography on gourds. Pyrography on gourds is a folk art and an intangible cultural heritage, and passing it on is his greatest aspiration.
