Personal Profile
Zhao Yan, female, was born in Jilin in 1969 and graduated from Jilin Normal College in 1992. She is a student in the Advanced Research Class of Zhao Chunqiu Studio at the Renmin University of China Academy of Fine Arts. She is a specially appointed painter of the China Ice and Snow Art Research Institute, a National First-Class Artist, a member of the Dalian Artists Association, a member of the Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee of the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Alliance, and a member of the Southwest Branch of the China Contemporary Women Painters Association.
In the "First Online Exhibition of Outstanding Works by Artists Commemorating International Women's Day," five ink paintings won the Award for Outstanding Works. In the "First Online Exhibition of Artist Talent Exchange," five ink paintings won the Award for Outstanding Works. In the "8th China Calligraphy and Painting Competition" hosted by China Art Competition Network, she received the Award for Outstanding Works. In the "Jinpu Shiyun" Dalian Jinpu New Area Teachers' Calligraphy and Painting Competition, her work "Xishan Jiangrui" won an Outstanding Award and was selected for the anthology "Jinpu Shiyun." Her works "Early Morning," "Mountain Home Auspiciousness," and "Bright Moon of Hometown" were included in the anthology "Hanmo Chunqiu." Her work "Spring Snow in Jiangnan" was selected for the 6th "Great Beauty of Pinggu, Ink and Wash Zhouzhuang" Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition.
