Wang Bingyu (Mingyu), Brother Mo of the Northern Land, Master of the Cherry Pavilion, was born in Heilongjiang in 1949, holds a university degree, and graduated from the China Calligraphy and Painting Correspondence University. He is retired from public service and resides in Dalian. In 2012, the State published personal albums including "Legendary Figures of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting" and "Master Wang Mingyu of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting." In 2014, he won the Gold Medal at the National Calligraphy and Painting Competition hosted by the China Academy of Calligraphy and Painting and was awarded the title of "One of the Hundred Outstanding Chinese Calligraphers."In 2018, he won first place nationwide in the second China Art Expo Online Competition for calligraphy.He is currently Vice Chairman of the Liaoning Branch of the China Calligraphy and Painting Artists Association, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Overseas Calligraphers Association, Vice Chairman of the Dalian Calligraphy and Painting Special Committee of the China Huaxia Culture Promotion Association, Senior Researcher in Creative Arts at the Beijing International Cultural Arts Center, Guest Professor of Calligraphy at Beijing Technology and Business University,Vice Director of the China Oriental Art Museum, Director of the Dalian Branch of the China Oriental Calligraphy and Painting Academy,Honorary President of the Dalian Branch of the China Qi Baishi Art Research Institute, Honorary President of the Liaoning Hengshan Calligraphy and Painting Academy, Senior Teacher of the China Calligraphers Association, Vice Director of the China Oriental Art Museum, and Director of the Dalian Branch of the China Oriental Calligraphy and Painting Academy.Pricing Standard: For calligraphy works, the domestic market price is 12,000 RMB per square foot; the international market price is $3,500 per square foot.
