Personal Profile

Liaoning native from Dalian, born in 1958, pen name Banhu, member of the Dalian Calligraphers Association, director of the Dalian Hard-Pen Calligraphy Association, honorary president of the Dalian Branch of the People's Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, art consultant of the Dalian Branch of the Liaoning Top 365 Artists Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, and art consultant of Xinghua Academy of Painting and Calligraphy. Passionate about calligraphy, I have taken ancient masterpieces and stele inscriptions as my teachers, diligently practicing for decades. I have copied Wang Xizhi's "Lanting Xu" over a thousand times and can recite its entire text effortlessly, as if strolling through a tranquil courtyard. My calligraphy skills and profound artistic attainments have earned widespread acclaim from renowned experts and collectors in the calligraphy community.
