Zhao Xuemin, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Liaoning Calligraphy Art Research Association, Director of the Shenshui Calligraphy and Painting Academy of Liaoning, Member of the Liaoning Calligraphers Association, Member of the Liaoning Association of Elderly Artists, and former Party Secretary and Deputy Chief Editor of the Primary School Students Newspaper.
He has inscribed the titles for the covers of magazines such as "Liaoning Youth" and "Chinese Charm," and titled the column "Art Enthusiast" for the Shenyang Evening News. His calligraphy works have been exhibited and awarded in national and provincial exhibitions. His calligraphy pieces have been included in the Famous Calligraphers Exhibition at the Shenyang Imperial Palace Museum. An interview about his calligraphy has been featured on the Northern Channel of Liaoning Television. His theoretical articles on calligraphy have been published in books and periodicals. In March 2015, he was rated as Level 10 in Calligraphy by the China Art Level Examination Center, Ministry of Culture (levels range from 1 to 10).
