 Xu Qingbin, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Powerful Calligraphers and Painters Association, Vice President of the China Calligraphy Research Association, member of the China Calligraphers Association, director of the Jilin Provincial Calligraphers Association, council member of the International Calligraphers and Painters Association, member of the China Elderly Calligraphers and Painters Research Association, calligraphy instructor at Tsinghua University Academy of Art & Design and Renmin University of China, founder of the Pengfei style. National First-Class Calligrapher, State Guest Gift Calligrapher. With 40 years of calligraphy study, he has extensively practiced the works of numerous masters and won many national gold and silver awards. His work "Bamboo" was sold for 1.08 million yuan at the 2010 Guangzhou Autumn Auction, while his works "Calmness," "Fortune," and "Longevity" were sold for 1.1 million, 1.16 million, and 1.18 million yuan respectively. His piece "Ode to a Humble Abode" was collected by the Macau gambling tycoon for 5.8 million yuan, and "Reminiscences of the Red Cliffs" is housed in the Great Hall of the People. His works are also collected by institutions such as the Xu Beihong Memorial Museum and the Military Museum. His artworks have been presented to numerous foreign political leaders and international friends. Exhibitions of his works have been held in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, the United States, the United Kingdom, and other countries, earning widespread admiration and acclaim worldwide.
