Personal Profile
Zuo Chunxiang, male, was born in 1964 in Yingkou City, Liaoning Province. He graduated from Yingkou Municipal Vocational Art School of Liaoning Province in 1982 and from Yingkou Municipal Education College of Liaoning Province in 1984. He is a cadre at the Dalian Engineering Section of China Railway Shenyang Group Co., Ltd. For many years, he has drawn inspiration from railway production and life, creating a large number of oil paintings depicting the working scenes of front-line railway employees. His works have been exhibited multiple times at national, provincial, municipal, and railway system exhibitions, winning numerous awards, and he has been awarded the title of "Locomotive Artist" by the All-China Federation of Railway Trade Unions.

1989, Oil painting "People. Pickaxe. Cart" won the Gold Award at the "Liaoning Province Workers' Exhibition Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Founding of the PRC";
1992, Oil painting "People. Pickaxe. Cart" was selected for the "China Railway Artworks Exhibition";
2003, Oil painting "The Road Ahead" won the First Prize in the "Third China Railway Literature and Art Star Award" Fine Art Competition;
2004, Oil painting "The Road Ahead" received the Nomination Award for the 2004 May Day Cultural Award and was included in the "2004 May Day Cultural Award Photography, Fine Art, Calligraphy Outstanding Works Collection" published by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions;
2004, Oil painting "The Starting Point" was selected for the "Fifth Liaoning Province Youth Art Exhibition" and won the Excellent Work Award. It was included in the exhibition catalog "Fifth Youth Art Exhibition";
2006, Oil painting "Heavenly Road" was selected for the exhibition commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Founding of the Liaoning Provincial Artists Association and won the Excellent Work Award;
2008 September, Oil painting "Completed" won the Silver Award at the "14th Dalu Art Exhibition," and the work was published in Issue 10, 2008 of "Fine Arts" magazine;
2010 December, Oil painting "Opened" won the Silver Award at the "15th Dalu Art Exhibition";
2013 April, Oil painting "Racing Like the Wind" won the Bronze Award at the "16th Dalu Art Exhibition";
2015 April, Oil painting "Noon Sunlight" won the Silver Award at the "17th Dalu Art Exhibition," and the work was published in Issue 6, 2015 of "Fine Arts" magazine;
2019 June, Oil painting "Noon Sunlight" won the Gold Award at the "Liaoning Province Workers' Calligraphy, Painting, and Photography Exhibition Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the PRC";
2019 July, Oil painting "Dreams Soaring" was selected for the Liaoning Provincial Exhibition of Works for the 13th National Art Exhibition;
