Oil painter Erlang, real name Zhu Libin.

Awarded by the Ministry of Culture as one of the 50 Most Influential Oil Painters in China, one of the 20 Top Master Artists of Chinese National Essence, Member of the China Artists Association, Member of the China Oil Painters Association, [1] National First-Class Artist, Senior Visiting Scholar at the China Art Research Institute, Ministry of Culture, Researcher at the Eastern Cultural Arts Academy, Ministry of Culture, Specialized Painter at the Guoyun Shenghua Academy of the Ministry of Culture, Council Member of the China Painters Association, Oil Art Committee, Hong Kong Artists Association Vice Chairman.

      Oil painter Erlang was born in 1972 in Jinzhou, Liaoning Province, graduated from the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in Shenyang, later furthered studies at the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and after graduation, traveled overseas to study Western painting in Rome, Italy, and Melbourne, Australia. During his time abroad, he meticulously copied numerous masterpieces, mastering the techniques and concepts of Western oil painting, achieving works that are both form and spirit, with clear layers and an ethereal quality.

His oil paintings are highly abstract and strongly representative, realistic yet exaggerated, with magnificent and dazzling textures of color, as if the colors themselves carry power and surge toward the viewer, allowing the audience to intensely experience the illusory beauty of nature. He constantly pursues new depths and expressive techniques in art, enabling viewers to appreciate diverse artistic styles, especially excelling in landscapes, fish, horses, and cabbage, earning admiration from people across all sectors and collectors.

Major Exhibitions and Award-Winning Works:
In 1999, participated in the Contemporary Oil Painting Masterpieces Exhibition at the China National Art Museum and won the Bronze Award.
In 2000–2001, his works were exhibited at the China Art Fair.
In 2003–2004, consecutively won the Silver Award at the China Art Fair for oil paintings.
In 2005, participated in the Beijing International Art Fair and won the Gold Award for oil painting. His monumental work "Bai Cai Tu" was collected by the U.S. Embassy.
In 2005, his Dragon Fish series of oil paintings received the "2005 Eurasian Art Gala – Paris Autumn Salon Academic Grand Prize."
In 2006, his oil painting "Cabbage" was selected for the National Art Exhibition hosted by the China Artists Association.
In the same year, his "Running Horses" series was selected for the 18th National Exhibition of New Artists and New Works hosted by the China Artists Association.
In 2007, participated in the 9th National Art Exhibition and the 14th Asian International Art Exhibition in Japan.
In 2008, won the Excellent Award at the European International Oriental Art Exhibition in the Netherlands.
In November 2010, participated in the "Love for China: Supporting One Million Empty-Nest Elderly" volunteer service activity organized by the China Artists Association, donating oil paintings.
In December 2012, invited to participate in the "China Calligraphy and Painting World Tour" events in Italy, France, and the United Kingdom.
In December 2013, participated in the Second China Youth Oil Painting Exhibition, winning the Silver Award for landscape oil painting.
In March 2014, invited to participate in the First China Calligraphy and Painting World Tour Summit Forum, where his oil paintings were exhibited in Bangkok, Thailand; all landscape oil paintings were collected by individuals.
In 2015, multiple works were exhibited at the Kuala Lumpur Art Gallery in Malaysia and participated in an auction, where the "Red Gold Dragon Fish" was sold for RMB 320,000 and the "Bai Cai Tu" for RMB 280,000; all works were collected by overseas Chinese and foreign friends.In recent years, Mr. Erlang's oil paintings have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions in cities both domestically and internationally. His oil paintings are now renowned both at home and abroad, with many works collected by individuals from various sectors globally.
