Personal Profile

He Shaojun: Born in 1954 in Liaoning Lingyuan, he has loved art since childhood and self-studied traditional Chinese ink landscape painting during his school years. In 2015, he graduated from the Chinese Ink Painting Research Institute and completed the Advanced Study Class in Landscape Painting under Dai Zhenyu at the Nanhai Art Academy in Beijing. During this period, he received guidance from renowned artists including Dai Zhenyu, Zhang Fuxing, Li Chengxiu, Liu Liyong, Zhao Jingyan, and Wang Lin. He is currently a Academician of the Chinese Ink Painting Research Institute and an Academician of the Nanhai Art Academy in Beijing. In 2017, he graduated from the Art College of Renmin University of China, Advanced Study Class in Landscape Painting under Zhang Zhiping. He is now a full member of the Plein Air Painting Association of China, a member of the Chaoyang City Artists Association, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Lingyuan City Artists Association, and Director of the Moyi Pavilion Calligraphy and Painting Academy in Lingyuan. His works have been exhibited at national, provincial, and municipal levels and are held in collections.
