Pan Xuan

Pan Xuan, born in 1989 in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province, graduated in 2011 from the Ceramic Art Design program at Jiangxi Normal University. She is a member of the Jiangxi Society of Arts and Crafts and the China Society of Arts and Crafts, and holds the title of Jiangxi Master of Arts and Crafts. After graduation, she studied under Master Xia Zhongyong, known as "the first master of ink-and-gold painting," specializing in female figure painting; however, she also received extensive guidance from her mentor in traditional Chinese painting, calligraphy, and theory. She has since established her own ceramic art studio and developed a distinctive personal style of ink-and-gold female figure paintings, as well as unique colored-glaze powder-and-gold decoration techniques. Her works have won numerous provincial and national awards and are highly favored by collectors and buyers.
