 Xu Zhenhua, female, was born in September 1970 in Shanghai and is currently a council member of the Meishu Association of Huichang County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. In 2007, she was honored as a "Model of Mass Entrepreneurship." Since childhood, she has studied paper-cutting art under her father's guidance, dedicating considerable effort over the years to exploring and refining this craft, producing numerous beloved works: In March 2012, her piece "Phoenix Facing the Rising Sun" won an excellence award at Huichang County's "Ink and Brush Praise the Party's Grace" calligraphy and painting exhibition; "Horse Achieves Success" received an excellence award at the Third Ganzhou City Art Festival exhibition; in September 2016, her paper-cut "Qinyuanchun·Snow" won an excellence award at the First Ganzhou City Workers' Online Art Festival themed "Chinese Dream·Labor Beauty"; in August 2017, her portrait "Mao Zedong" received an excellence award at the exhibition "Ink Fragrance Expresses Dual Support, Light and Shadow Build Dreams Together" commemorating the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party. In the first People's Artist Selection in 2018, she was awarded third prize. Since 2014, she has been long-term employed as a professional "Paper-Cutting Instructor" by Huichang County Cultural Center, Huichang County Special Education School, Huichang County Senior University, Huichang County Children's Education Center, and other institutions, playing a vital role in promoting public participation in paper-cutting art, preserving this traditional craft, and enhancing the quality of people's lives. Every year, her paper-cutting works are exhibited at the grandest Laigong Temple Fair. She specially created a paper-cut work titled "Sound Resonates Across Mountains and Rivers," incorporating calligraphy and landscape elements, for the renowned Taiwan screenwriter Lee Kuo-chuan. Gradually, her paper-cutting works have become gifts presented to foreign guests, and an increasing number of international friends have collected her art.
