Wu De: A contemporary Chinese master of painting and calligraphy, an outstanding Chinese artist in China and the United States, a specially recommended artist by the National Two Sessions, and a specially invited painter by CCTV's Star Avenue. Currently serving as a Senior Academician of the China Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, Vice President of the Beijing Institute of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Art, and Vice President of the Longhu Mountain Academy of Painting and Calligraphy. Born in 1963 in the picturesque Longhu Mountain, a sacred site of Taoism in China, Wu De has been passionate about painting and calligraphy since childhood. He majored in fine arts and founded Hanmoxuan Painting and Calligraphy Education in Yingtan in 2008, which he continues to operate today. His works primarily feature the Jiangnan water village style, depicting misty trees and willow banks, riverside villages shrouded in clouds and rain, and layered verdant hills. He captures the essence of mountains and rivers while absorbing the spiritual vitality of clouds and water, integrating the essence of multiple schools. After decades of dedicated pursuit in ink and wash art, he has achieved notable artistic accomplishments.   His works have been repeatedly invited to participate in various domestic and international painting and calligraphy exhibitions, earning awards consecutively. Personal commemorative stamp albums titled “Celebrating the 95th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China” and “Commemorating the 37th Anniversary of Sino-U.S. Diplomatic Relations” have been officially published. He has long been devoted to charitable and public welfare causes. His works “Autumn Mountains and Emerald Waters” and “Layered Peaks, Verdant Waters Flow Forever” have been collected by the United Nations [Global Alliance for Peacekeeping Security Council] Organizing Committee, which awarded him the “Global Peace Painting and Calligraphy Contribution Award” and the special title of “Peace Ambassador.” His work “Serene Landscape” has been collected by the Organizing Committee of the Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall and was personally certified by General Shao Yufeng, the only adopted daughter of Premier Zhou Enlai, who conferred upon him the “Outstanding Contribution Award for the Public Welfare Activity ‘Celebrating the 95th Anniversary of the Founding of the CPC, Chinese Children Forever Follow the Party, and Realizing the Chinese Dream.’” His work “Clear Skies over Majestic Rivers” has been collected by the Organizing Committee of the 7th Cross-Strait Painting and Calligraphy Exchange.   His works are now collected by numerous painting and calligraphy research institutions, museums, memorial halls, and enthusiasts in Singapore, Italy, the United States, France, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and other regions at home and abroad.
