Hu Xiangyun, female, was born in Poyang County, Jiangxi Province, and has been passionate about painting since childhood. She graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute in Jiangxi Province. She is currently a Jiangxi Province Master of Arts and Crafts, a member of the Zhushan District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference in Jingdezhen, a mid-career ceramic artist in Jingdezhen, a member of the Association of Young Artists, and a member of the China Association of Arts and Crafts Artists. Her representative works include "Daiyu Buries Flowers," "Flowering Season," "The Four Beauties," and "Spring Outing."
Her artistic achievements have been highly praised by senior figures in the art world. She excels in depicting figures, animals, and flowers and birds, and has developed her own unique style. Some of her works have been published in "Exhibition of Works by Mid-Career Ceramic Artists of Jingdezhen," Shanghai's "News Evening Post," and "Xinmin Evening News." Her works have won numerous awards, such as: the porcelain vase "Daiyu Buries Flowers" winning the "Gold Medal" at the First "Poyang Lake International Ecological Culture Festival Exhibition" in 2010; the porcelain panel "Flowering Season" winning the Gold Medal at the "2014 Jiangxi Arts and Crafts Excellent Works Exhibition"; the porcelain vase "Spring Thoughts" winning the Gold Medal at the精品Exhibition hosted by the Jiangxi Arts and Crafts Art Museum; the porcelain panel "Lotus Emerging from Water" winning the China Arts and Crafts "Gold Medal" after evaluation by the Review Committee at the Third China Arts and Crafts Fine Products Expo; and the porcelain panel "Elegant Shadow of Clear Lotus" winning the Second Prize in China Arts and Crafts at the Second China (National-level) Arts and Crafts Fine Products Exhibition ("Second China Arts and Crafts Excellent Works Selection"). Representative works include "Flowering Season," "Daiyu Buries Flowers," "Spring Outing," and "Moonlight on the Lotus Pond," which have been highly acclaimed by peers and experts.
