  Hu Wujun, born in October 1978 in Gushi Town, Xiushui County, Jiangxi, resides in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province. In 2016, his works were selected for global publication by United Nations Press publications and he was honored as a "Contemporary Ceramic Artist." In July 2017, his artworks were included in the commemorative stamp series titled "Stay True to Our Original Aspirations and Continue Marching Forward—Celebrating the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China," earning him the title of "Renowned Contemporary Calligrapher and Painter." ~ A business executive from Guangdong ordered 30 copies for collection. During school, he trained under mentors to master sketching and drawing fundamentals. In 1998, he traveled to Guangdong to study carbon powder portrait techniques and glass painting. His works gradually developed a unique style, earning high praise from professionals. Through his profound creations, he connected with fellow artists and formed a close friendship with artist Wei Gaowei, whom he regards as a sworn brother, and together they strive toward artistic excellence. At the beginning of 2003, Hu arrived in Jingdezhen and had the fortune of being guided by Mr. Fu Yunnan, a renowned portrait painter from Nanchang. In 2005, he was further mentored by Master Zhang Wenchao in ceramic portrait painting. In recent years, he has been fortunate to receive patient instruction in portraiture from the celebrated Master Qian Datong, along with care and encouragement from Professor He Shushui, Professor Le Qiong, Minister Hu Deping, Director Hu Shaochun, and Professor Hu Shengli. He was also honored with an inscribed plaque by grandmaster Wang Xiliang—“Hu Wujun Art Ceramics.” Under the careful guidance of these masters, he has deeply mastered ceramic portraiture and Western-style figure painting, and has also achieved notable expertise in animal painting, oil painting landscapes, and other areas, producing abundant and remarkable artistic achievements.
