Personal Profile

Jiang Minhui was born on March 28, 1975, in Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province. He has been engaged in ceramic painting since 1994. He is a Ceramic Skills Master of Jingdezhen City. He graduated from the Ceramic University with a bachelor’s degree. He is currently a Master of Chinese Inheritance Art and a specially appointed professor at Nanhang University. He is also a teacher at the Jiangxi Ceramic Art and Craft Technology College. He holds the title of Senior Technician (Level 1 Ceramic Painting). He is a Jiangxi Ceramic Art and Craft Artist, a member of the Jiangxi Society of Art and Craft, and a member of the Jiangxi Artists Association. He is a heritage inheritor of Jiangxi’s intangible cultural heritage for enamel painting on ceramics. He is also the Chief Technician of Nanchang City (ceramic painting category). He specializes in ceramic painting, fencai ceramic painting, and enamel painting on ceramics, as well as the production and design of overglaze enamel. His master is Zhang Liang, and his ancestral master is Zhao Huimin. In 2013, his work “Fragrance Clear and Far, Golden Wind and Autumn Splendor” won the Golden Award at the Hundred Flowers Award. In 2012, his work “Full Hall of Wealth and Honor” won the Golden Award at the Hundred Flowers Award. In 2015, his work “Spring Beauty, Deep Affection” won the Hundred Flowers Award.
