Pan Xuan

Pan Xuan, born in 1989 in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province, graduated in 2011 from the Ceramic Art Design program at Jiangxi Normal University. She is a member of the Jiangxi Society of Arts and Crafts and the China Society of Arts and Crafts, and a Jiangxi Master of Arts and Crafts. After graduation, she studied under Master Xia Zhongyong, known as "the first master of ink-and-gold painting," specializing in female figure painting; she also received extensive guidance from her master in Chinese painting, calligraphy, and theory. She has since established her own ceramic art studio and developed her distinctive style of ink-and-gold female figure painting, as well as a unique color-glaze powder-and-gold decoration technique. Her works have won numerous provincial and national awards and are highly favored by collectors and buyers.
