 Feng Ling,born Li Hongcheng,also known as Master of Xinxiangzhai,Jiangxi Nanchang native,professional painter and calligrapher,writer,and poet.
Currently Director of the Fuzhou Branch of the China International Academy of Painting and Calligraphy,Member of the China Artists Association,Vice President of the China National Academy of Painting and Calligraphy,Committee Member of the China Academy of Painting and Calligraphy Art Committee,Member of the China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association,Art Consultant of the China Painting and Calligraphy Art Creation Center,Member of the Jiangxi Artists Association,Council Member of the Nanchang Artists Association,Director of the Fuzhou Qifeng Academy of Painting and Calligraphy.Since childhood, he has been passionate about literature and painting,and began publishing poetry and paintings in the magazine Jiangxi Literature and Artin 1990,studied poetry creation under the renowned poet Li Songtao in 1993,was hired as a critic by the Jiangxi magazine Television and Dramain 2000,joined the first session of the writer's class of the literary magazine Ganjiang Literaturein 2002,and subsequently published poems, essays, reportage, paintings, calligraphy, and critical articles in dozens of newspapers and magazines including Literary Newcomers,May,Ganjiang Literature,Jiangxi Daily,China Painting and Calligraphy News,China Culture News,Fine Arts News,Collection Express,China Family Daily,Oriental Painting and Calligraphy News,and Henan Pictorial.In 2014, he wrote and directed the script Record of Service in Nanchang’s Window Industries, which received praise from the Communist Youth League Central Committee and the Ministry of Commerce.Many of his works have been included in The Great Dictionary of Chinese Art Collections Worldwide,National Collection of Fine Paintings and Calligraphy,Collection of Award-Winning Works from National Painting and Calligraphy Competitions,and Great Dictionary of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Masters.He has been honored with titles such as "Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Master,""Contemporary Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Master,""Top 100 Influential Painting and Calligraphy Masters in China,"and "China's Top 100 Innovative Talents Gold Medal."He is acclaimed by the Chinese art world as a "mid-career artist with substantial artistic strength."In recent years, Feng Ling has been repeatedly invited to participate in exhibitions organized by the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China, the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the China Artists Association, the China Calligraphers Association, and provincial organizations, including:Guangzhou Art Expo,Shenzhen Cultural Industry Expo,Yunnan Kunming Cultural Industry Expo,Xinjiang Art Expo,Hunan Art Expo,Dongguan Art Expo,Shandong Art Expo,and Hunan Art Expo.During the 2014 Kunming Cultural Expo, when an earthquake struck Ludian, he donated calligraphy and painting works valued at over 2,000 yuan.Feng Ling is an extraordinary painter and calligrapher who never entered a formal art academy or studied under any renowned masters; instead, relying entirely on his innate talent and diligence, he absorbed the strengths of six schools, fused them into his own unique style, and after decades of refinement, carved out his own artistic domain.Skilled in both painting and calligraphy, he excels in expressive ink wash, landscapes, fruits and vegetables, figures, and animals.His depictions of birds, flowers, shrimp, and crabs are bold, fluid, and brimming with the vibrant energy of nature.Feng Ling’s works resonate deeply with the public;
