He Zeya, born in 1996, is from Wuzhou, Jiangxi. He is a disciple of Hainan Master of Arts and Crafts, Guo Jianliang. His wood carvings have won awards in multiple art exhibitions and are collected by wood carving enthusiasts in Hainan, Beijing, Nanjing, and other places.
Since childhood, He Zeya has been learning wood carving, specializing in sculpting various Buddhist statues. For a long time, he has been deeply absorbed in carving, often losing track of meals and sleep. He believes that each wooden sculpture possesses its own life—carving its form, spirit, and emotion—and he pours all his feelings into his wood carving creations.
