 Wang Zecheng, originally named Zedong, was born in 1981 in Pan Village, Leping City, Jiangxi Province. He is the pioneer of ceramic internal painting in Jingdezhen. He has been specially appointed by Jingdezhen Yuchengxuan Ceramic Culture Communication Co., Ltd. as: Wang Zecheng, Senior Art Master of Ceramic Internal Painting, awarded the honorary title: "Ceramic Internal Painting—A Unique Craft of the Porcelain Capital," Jiangxi Provincial Art Master, Senior Art Master, and awarded the title of "Master of Ceramic Micro-Painting" by Shanghai "Zhangdao Watch" Investment Co., Ltd. In 2012, he was awarded the title of "Charity Ambassador" by the China Children and Teenagers' Fund. He is a member of the Jiangxi Artists Association. Currently, he serves as a researcher at the Jingdezhen Ceramic History Research Institute, a member of the Jingdezhen Artists Association, a researcher at the Jingdezhen Gaoling Ceramic Research Institute, and Director of the Ceramic Vessel Internal Painting Art Studio.       In 1997, he studied landscape painting under Shi Bingshou, a Senior Art Master of Jiangxi Province.
       In 1999, he studied ceramic landscape painting under Yuan Shiwen, a Chinese Ceramic Art Master, and later studied landscape and flower-bird painting techniques under Shanghai artist Chen Wuji.
       In 2010/2012, he underwent training in internal painting at the Xingsan Internal Painting Training School in Hebei Hengshui, where he received direct instruction from Wang Xisan, the founder of the Ji School of internal painting. After completing his training, he returned to Jingdezhen to create ceramic vessel internal paintings, thus becoming an external disciple of Wang Xisan, the founder of the Ji School of internal painting. Coming from a distinguished lineage, in October 2016, Wang Zecheng organized an unprecedented major event: the 37-year reunion meeting of two first-generation Chinese Master Artisans, Wang Xilang and Wang Xisan. Both first-generation Master Artisans, Wang Xilang and Wang Xisan, provided him with meticulous guidance and high praise. After appreciating Zecheng’s ceramic internal paintings, Jingdezhen’s ceramic art patriarch Wang Xilang gladly inscribed for him: "Wang Zecheng’s paintings reveal another world," enthusiastically encouraging him to forge a new path in porcelain painting. Wang Xisan, the master of internal painting and founder of the Ji School, inscribed for his disciple Zecheng: "Pioneer of Ceramic Internal Painting: Wang Zecheng." Subsequently, the two first-generation masters jointly inscribed four characters for their disciple: "Ye Jing Ze Cheng" (Excellence Through Dedication). Shanghai artist Chen Wuji inscribed for his disciple: "A Rare Craft on Porcelain," offering high praise. His works feature a unique, fresh, elegant, and profound style. He excels in innovative techniques of overglaze, flower-bird, and landscape painting. His works have repeatedly won gold and silver awards and have been featured in special sections of the "Popular Collection Newspaper," "Changjiang Daily - Changjiang Weekly," "Jiangxi Daily," "Jiangxi Business Daily" cover, "Jiangnan Metropolis Daily," "Jingdezhen Daily" special section, "Porcelain Capital Evening News," "News Information Daily," "Entrepreneurship Weekly," and two issues of "Jingdezhen Ceramic City Film & TV Weekly." He has also been interviewed and featured on Jiangxi Satellite TV, Jiangxi Channel 5 ("Di Bao Dang Jia"), Jingdezhen News at 8 PM, Jingdezhen Television Channel 1 and 2, and on the Jingdezhen Zhonghua Ceramic Network. Building upon the inheritance of traditional Chinese ceramic art, he boldly innovates, not only pioneering the highly challenging technique of ceramic "vessel internal painting," but also winning numerous awards. His works have been included in "China Industry Magazine," "Today's Science & Technology," "Chinese Masterpiece Art," "Flower of the Porcelain Garden," "Collector's Edition," "Jingdezhen Ceramic Culture Collection," and "Jingdezhen Ceramic Artists and Works Collection Library."
