Personal Profile

Huang Zhiqiang, also known as Lao Ben, born on February 4, 1955, in Jiangxi Nanchang, is a painter of flowers and birds. He has been passionate about painting since childhood and has spent decades following the artistic tradition of Mr. Wu Changshuo. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts, Jiangxi Normal University, and completed the Advanced Research Class at the Normal Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. He is currently a full-time art teacher at the Nanchang Children's Palace (Associate Senior Title), a member of the Jiangxi Artists Association, a member of the Jiangxi Chinese Painting Research Society, a visiting professor at the School of Fine Arts, Nanchang University of Technology, a specially invited painter of China Guoguang Academy of Painting, a specially invited painter of Jiangxi Zhongshan Academy of Painting, and a specially invited painter of Jiangxi Old Revolutionary Base Academy of Painting.
