Personal Profile

Engineer Yu, Yu Jinggan — a native of Jiangxi, China, holding a Ph.D. in Philosophy. Painter, architect, designer, and entrepreneur. Cultural researcher at Beijing University, Academician and Vice President of the United Nations Academy of Ecological and Life Safety, visiting professor at multiple domestic and international universities, sponsor and president of Jiangxi Academy of Fine Arts. In the 2009 Second Annual Figure Selection by Art News, he shared the award stage with Mr. Wu Guanzhong and was named one of the six individuals "Most Influential in China's Art and Design Field." He is the first recipient of the Design Master Medal in China. Chairman of the Art Decoration Committee, China Chamber of Commerce for Furniture and Decoration Industry, China Federation of Industry and Commerce.
