Li Feitao, a National First-Class Technician, Senior Artisan of Jingdezhen, and member of the Jingdezhen Calligraphy Association, was born in 1980 into a family of ceramic artisans in Jingdezhen. He graduated from Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute and began learning ceramic painting techniques at the age of 12. He specializes in depicting ancient and modern figures, birds and flowers, animals, traditional patterns, and landscape scenery using both overglaze and underglaze techniques. He emphasizes absorbing the strengths of traditional art and contemporary masters, pursuing high artistic taste and developing a distinctive personal style with unconventional expressive methods. His works feature delicate lines and vibrant colors, condensing Chinese traditional culture and ceramic painting art onto small porcelain pieces, making them highly sought after by ceramic enthusiasts and collectors.
