Yang Bing, born in 1961 in Nanjing, is currently a member of the Board of the China Poetry Painting and Calligraphy Artists Association; a senior painter of the Yangzi Artists Association of Jiangsu Province; a member of the Jiangsu Provincial Disabled Artists Association; a member of the Nanjing Artists Association; a guide teacher of the Red Scarf Art Class in Nanjing's Jianye District; and an art teacher at the Nanjing Jiuzhou Disabled Arts Center. Since childhood, he has loved calligraphy and painting, and has studied flower and bird painting for decades with great dedication. He has been guided by teachers Qin Haiya, Chen Xiaohong, and Chen Yijun. Despite the inconvenience caused by his physical disability, he has persisted in painting without fail. Later, he became a student of the Chinese painting master Lu Yu, and received help and guidance from Lu Yu, making remarkable progress in the field of detailed brushwork. Not only has he gained a deeper understanding and improvement in painting, but his perception of the artistic realm and technical skills in painting has also become increasingly refined.
