Liang Yu

Liang Yu, member of the Board of Directors of the China Financial Artists Association, chairman of the Jiangsu Financial Artists Association, member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, member of the Jiangsu Artists Association, member of the Board of Directors of the Nanjing Artists Association, secretary-general of the Nanjing Figure Painting Research Association, and specially appointed painter of the Nanjing Art Academy. His ink painting specializes in figures, with a lifelike and elegant style that is appreciated by both refined and common audiences. He graduated from the Department of Figure Painting at Nanjing University of the Arts. He once won first prize in the "Night Painting Zhouzhuang" National Painting Creation Competition. His calligraphy excels in cursive and running scripts, with a brisk and free-spirited style, and vivid brushwork. His works have been exhibited in many new artists' exhibitions, middle-aged and young artists' exhibitions, and national exhibitions, and have received awards. His paintings and calligraphy are collected by cultural and museum institutions and collectors at home and abroad.
