Hou Cunxiao

Hou Cunxiao, a senior craftsman and artist of the China Association of Arts and Crafts, member of the Board of the China Traditional Culture Poetry Painting and Calligraphy Association, member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Research Association, and member of the Jiangsu Province Bird and Flower Research Association. A senior calligrapher and painter of the Yangtze River Calligraphy and Painting Society of Jiangsu Province, member of the Nanjing Artists Association, senior advisor of the Nanjing Zhongshan Calligraphy and Painting Academy, member of the Board of the Nanjing Dushu Association, and member of the Nanjing Oracle Bone Script Association, among others. His works have been exhibited and awarded in provincial and above-level exhibitions multiple times, and have been published in many journals. In 2016, he was interviewed by Jiangsu Television and broadcasted in the "Evening Glow" program. His paintings "Scholarly Women" and "Soaring" were selected for the 2016 "Welcome Shenzhou XI" Successful Chinese Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Masters' Excellent Exhibition, and were included in the publication "The Dream of Flying to Heaven, the Dream of a Strong Country, the Chinese Dream - Chinese Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Masters' Excellent Collection", and have been collected by the China Aerospace Art Museum.
