Personal Profile

Zhao Shengyu, native of Nanjing, Guizhou Qianxi, was born in September 1978, style name Qinqi, pseudonym Shuixi Yusheng, study room name Liuranju. He received early family education and learned calligraphy from his grandfather. During his studies in Yuncheng, he studied under the guidance of Mr. Yang Mingkai and Meng Yongyi to learn cursive script and seal script, and has won many awards in calligraphy competitions organized by cities, provinces, and counties. Since learning calligraphy, he has pursued the grandeur of the Qin and Han dynasties and admired the spirit of the Wei and Jin dynasties.
