Wu Yunshi (Wu Jianguo), style name: Yunshi, Muran, was born in 1960 in Jingjiang City, Jiangsu Province.
He is a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a national first-grade art master, a member of the Jiangsu Calligraphers Association, a painter of the China Modern Color Ink Art Academy, a researcher of the Han Mo Modern Color Ink Studio of Tsinghua University School of Art, the president of the Yangguang Hanbo Cultural Arts Institute, and the director of Dehao Art Museum in Yantai, Shandong. His works have participated in many national exhibitions and have won awards multiple times. The "Monkey Longevity" works have obtained national patents.
Teacher Wu Yunshi's works have been exhibited in the "First Wang Xizhi Award National Calligraphy Exhibition" hosted by the Chinese Calligraphers Association, the "First Sun Guoteng Award National Cursive Script and Regular Script Grand Exhibition", the "First Tao Yuanming Award National Calligraphy Exhibition", and his 2014 painting "Autumn Rhythm" won the Excellent Work Award in the "7th National Contemporary Famous Flower and Bird Painters' Works Exhibition". His works are included in "The Glorious Journey - Calligraphy Works Collection for the 85th Anniversary of the Communist Party of China" and "20th Century Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Works Auction Database". His calligraphy works have been published in magazines such as "China's Political Consultative Conference Daily", "Calligraphy News", "Chinese Businessman", "Jianbao", and "China Brand". His calligraphy works have been published in many media and have been collected by collectors in France, the United States, Australia, Russia, Japan, and Hong Kong, China.
