Lu Jiahe, also known as Lu Ye and styled Longguang Louzhu, was born in 1940 in Jianhu, Jiangsu Province, and is a descendant of Lu Xiufu, the “Loyal and Martyred Duke” of the late Song Dynasty. He graduated in 1958 from the Jiangsu Provincial Academy of Arts and Culture, studying under renowned masters such as Ya Ming and Song Wenzhi, and became the last disciple of the celebrated calligraphy and painting master Qian Songyan. He excels in both painting and calligraphy, particularly specializing in water village scenes and wild geese among reeds. He integrates painting, calligraphy, poetry, and seal carving into a unified artistic expression, deeply embodying traditional essence. Over the years, he has been invited to participate in joint exhibitions and cultural exchanges in Singapore, Japan, Canada, Brazil, South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Thailand, and regions including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan of China, winning more than 30 gold awards. He has held large-scale solo exhibitions at venues such as the National Art Museum of China, the Military Museum of China, and the Tokyo Central Art Museum in Japan, generating widespread acclaim. He has been featured in special reports by CCTV, CCTV Online, China National Radio, Xinhua News Agency, People’s Daily, Guangming Daily, and other major media outlets, with over 1,000 of his outstanding artworks published. Some of his works are collected by institutions including the National Art Museum of China, the Military Museum of China, People’s Daily, Xinhua News Agency, New Fourth Army Memorial Hall, People’s Pictorial, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Chinese embassies and consulates, as well as by prominent figures such as Anna Chennault, Fan Guangling, Liao Jingwen, and Shan Guoqiang. His masterpieces are also inscribed on the Celebrity List of the Palace Museum. Academician Fan Guangling, Chairman of the First World Poets Conference in China, praised Master Lu Jiahe’s works as possessing world-class quality. Professor Shan Guoqiang, authentication expert of the Palace Museum, remarked that Lu Jiahe’s works depicting water villages, wild geese among reeds, landscapes, and figures are profoundly rich and vividly ethereal, immersing viewers in their scenes. He marveled, “True masters reside among the people; great artists emerge from the grassroots,” and personally inscribed the four characters “Si Yi Shen Chao” (Thoughts Transcend, Spirit Surpasses) as a cherished gift. Lu Jiahe is deeply committed to public welfare, repeatedly donating paintings and calligraphy to support poverty alleviation, disaster relief, underprivileged students, and investment promotion, earning high praise within the literary and artistic circles. In 2017, he was awarded the “World Artist Award” Gold Medal and honored with the title of “World's Most Beautiful Master of Art.”

                             Professor Shan Guoqiang, ancient and modern painting and calligraphy authentication expert of the Palace Museum, praised Master Lu Jiahe by inscribing the four characters “Si Yi Shen Chao” as an encouraging keepsake!
                               
                           During his surgical recovery, Master Lu Jiahe generously donated over ten exquisite calligraphy and traditional Chinese paintings to aid the earthquake-stricken region of Ya’an, Sichuan, receiving commendation and letters of appreciation from senior leadership and the Secretary-General of the Chinese Red Cross Society!
