Wu Yunshi (Wu Jianguo), style name: Yunshi, Muran, was born in 1960 in Jingjiang City, Jiangsu Province. He is a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a national first-class art worker, a member of the Jiangsu Calligraphers Association, a painter of the Chinese Modern Color Ink Art Academy, a researcher of the Hanmo Modern Color Ink Studio of Tsinghua University School of Arts, the president of Yangguang Hanbo Culture and Art Institute, and the director of Dehao Art Museum in Yantai, Shandong. His works have participated in many national exhibitions and have won many awards. The "Monkey Longevity" works have obtained national patents.
Mr. Wu Yunshi's works have been exhibited in the "First Wang Xizhi Award National Calligraphy Exhibition" hosted by the Chinese Calligraphers Association, the "First Sun Guoting Award National Cursive Script and Regular Script Grand Exhibition", the "First Tao Yuanming Award National Calligraphy Exhibition", and his 2014 painting "Autumn Melody" won the Excellence Award in the "7th National Contemporary Famous Flower and Bird Painters' Exhibition". His works are included in "Glorious Journey - The National Calligraphy Works Collection Commemorating the 85th Anniversary of the Communist Party of China" and "The Auction Library of 20th Century Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Works". His calligraphy works have been published in magazines such as "China's Political Consultative Conference Daily", "Calligraphy News", "Chinese Businessman", "Jiubao", and "China Brand".
