Personal Profile

Xie Qianli,born in Donghai, Jiangsu in January 1966, native of Nanjing. Descendant of Xie An. A full-time calligraphy teacher for more than 20 years, currently working in the cultural department. Graduated from Jiangsu Tongshan Normal School in 1984, from Nanjing Normal University with a major in Chinese Language and Literature in 1992, and from Nanjing Arts Institute with a major in Calligraphy and Seal Carving in 2000. Published seven volumes of character practice books. One of the 23 people who passed the highest level (Level Three) of the first batch of calligraphy professional grading by the China Calligraphers Association. Currently a member of Jiangsu Calligraphers Association, member of Chinese Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, member of Chinese Couplets Association, director of Jiangsu Couplets Research Association, member of Jiangsu Poetry Association, standing director of Chunhua Poetry Society of Jiangsu Poetry Association, member of Jiangsu Bird and Flower Painting Research Association, third-generation inheritor of Hong School Chen-style Tai Chi, senior social sports instructor, Art Director of Nanjing Deran Cultural Arts Co., Ltd., registered senior calligraphy teacher of China Calligraphers Association.
