Personal Profile

Meng Guangxue (Dharma name: Muzhai Shanweng) was born in June 1965. He has been disabled since childhood and has been deeply interested in painting art from a young age. He has continuously self-taught and diligently studied, excelling in Chinese landscape painting and freehand flower and bird painting. The hardships of life and the pain of illness have not hindered his pursuit of painting. He has participated in many national calligraphy and painting exhibitions.He won the Excellent Work Award in the Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition for the 100th Anniversary of Movies.He won the Gold Award in the Overseas Calligraphy and Painting Masters Exhibition in 2006. His works have been published in the "China Calligraphy and Painting Daily", and have been selected into the "Jinding Award National Masters' Excellent Works Collection", "The Great Classic of Calligraphy and Painting for the Centenary of Movies", "The Precious Collection of Outstanding Works by Contemporary Chinese Literati Calligraphers and Painters", and "Dictionary of Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting". His sayings have been published in "A Generation's Master" and "Famous Sayings of Chinese and Foreign Philosophers". His Lso Art Registration Certificate is of National Excellence Level.
