Personal Profile

Unit, military calligrapher, known as the "Three Greats of the Military" along with Mo Yan and Li Xiang. Native of Jiangsu, now resides in Chengdu. Alias: Master of Ji Shan Tang, Jiangzuo Lao Yuan, Chenyuan Scholar. Received early family education and successively studied under Ma Xinlin and Sha Manweng. In 1985 held a personal calligraphy exhibition in Beijing, Qibing praised "The young are admirable". In 1986 carved two seals for Mo Yan: "Screw You" and "The Impermanence", which are collected by museums in Nanjing, Suzhou, etc. Skilled in various scripts including regular, cursive, running, clerical, and seal scripts, especially adept at copying sutras, known as the "Number One Sutra Copier in Southwest China".,In 2018 established Ji Shan Tang Calligraphy Studio in Chengdu.
