 Xu Mu was brought up with family teachings. Her father is a member of the Jiangsu Provincial Artists Association and the Anhui Provincial Calligraphers Association. From her childhood, he attached great importance to her art education. She has been studying painting for more than twenty years. At first, Xu Mu was not engaged in children's education. During her high school years, because of her outstanding painting skills, she always helped teachers as a teaching assistant. After university, she worked part-time as an art teacher for senior high school entrance exam classes. Later, Xu Mu founded a studio in Qingdao. Through a chance encounter, she came into contact with the industry of children's art training, and thus switched to the field of children's education.

        When Xu Mu started working in the field of children's tutoring, she found that the love from teachers is the source of children's growth at school. This further strengthened Xu Mu's teaching philosophy of "using love and professionalism to help people grow." In "Give Your Heart to the Child" by Sukhomlinsky, it says: "To become a true educator for children, one must dedicate their heart to them." Here, the "heart" refers to love for the children. Children are saplings under the blue sky, the future pillars of the country; they are the spring of the nation, carrying the hope of building the country in the future. In recent years, with the deepening of educational reform and the acceleration of modernization in education, the requirements for teachers have become higher and higher. With students, Xu Mu felt the burden on her shoulders became heavier. Since then, she has been more strict with herself. She believes that if she wants to give children a bowl of water, she must have a pond of water herself. Only by improving her own quality, teaching and educational level and ability can she better adapt to the demands of the new era. Xu Mu believes that children's art education is not about teaching children to draw a picture, but about cultivating their aesthetic sense. Children's painting is relatively emotional; they paint what they feel. In this process, we should learn to respect the children, respect their perception of objects, and respect their nature of "what I draw is what I see." In 2018, Xu Mu became a senior trainer for the national children's art assessment. The purpose of her training in class is to cultivate children's cultivation, aesthetics, character, and quality. Using love and professionalism to help people grow, let them gradually learn to appreciate the beauty of life and perceive the diversity of the world. Thus, improving the overall quality of children. Xu Mu graduated from the Department of Painting at Qingdao University of Technology's School of Arts, and studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts' Basic Drawing Training Class. She is currently a member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association's Education Committee, a member of the Jiangsu Provincial Youth Artists Association, and a member of the Yancheng Provincial Youth Artists Association. She has been invited to participate in the CCTV program "The Descendants of the Dragon." Her works have been successively selected for international cultural and art exhibitions, large-scale art albums of the "Youth Calligraphy News," and the magazine "Global Children's Art."
