Wang Chonghu, also known as Chenghui Layman, Master of Pianyun Pavilion, began to learn painting at the age of 10, and was a disciple of Master Yuanlin at the age of 27. He has meticulously studied ancient calligraphy scrolls and painting manuals, with profound efforts. He is capable of painting landscapes, birds and flowers, figures, meticulous style, free-style, ink wash, colored paintings, large-scale works, and small pieces. His calligraphy encompasses various styles, with large characters rustic and vigorous, and small characters elegant and beautiful. His works have been selected for exhibitions and competitions at municipal, provincial, and national levels, and have been included in various compendiums. He has been appointed by the China Painting Academy, Jiangsu Provincial Painting Academy, and the Jiangsu Institute of Calligraphy. His art collections (Pianyun Dianmo,) 1-3 volumes.
