Personal Profile

Xu Xiya, pen name Qingsong Morning, male, born in February 1976, from Xinyi City, Jiangsu Province, member of the Jiangsu Calligraphers Association, member of the Xuzhou Calligraphers Association, member of the Xinyi Calligraphers Association. Member of the Modern Chinese Hard-ink Calligraphers Association. He has been passionate about calligraphy since childhood, learning regular script from Yan and Liu, forming a unique personal style. He won the Silver Award in the 1996 International Hard-ink Calligraphy Exhibition, had his works published in newspapers multiple times, participated in the Calligraphy Excellence Collection in 1998. He received the Outstanding Award in the 2018 Hanmo Jiangnan Painting and Calligraphy Competition.
