Personal Profile

Sun Yujie: From Nanjing, born in 1966, a member of the Communist Party of China. Member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, the Chinese Couplets Association, the Chinese Collectors Association, a reviewer of the work style construction of the Nanjing government agencies, a member of the Committee for the New Artistic Groups of the Nanjing Federation of Literary and Art Circles, vice chairman of the Lishui District Calligraphers Association, member of the Board of Directors of the Nanjing Calligraphers Association, president of the Yangtze River Art Research Institute of Nanjing. His calligraphy works are collected by units such as the Shaolin Temple, Nanjing University, Southeast University, the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, and the Soong Ching Ling Foundation. Graduated from Fuyang Normal University (Secretarial Science major), studied at the China Academy of Art, and attended the training program of the Chinese Calligraphy Association under the guidance of Qian Songjun. His works have been exhibited in the 8th National Calligraphy and Seal Carving Exhibition and other exhibitions (participated in 13 national exhibitions). Published eight-page 216-page "Sun Yujie's Art of Calligraphy and Painting", "Sun Yujie's Calligraphy", "Sun Yujie's Calligraphy Works Collection". The book titles were inscribed by famous teachers such as Sun Fulin, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Zou Jiayu, Vice Premier of the State Council, Li Duo, a master of calligraphy, and Quan Xijun. In March 18-19, 2000, he held an individual calligraphy exhibition at the Fuyang Museum. He organized national calligraphy and painting exhibitions such as "The Soul of the Yangtze River", "Appreciating the South", "Dreaming of the World Cup", "Dedicated to the Motherland and Mother", commemorating the 110th anniversary of the birth of Premier Zhou Enlai, and the 140th anniversary of the birth of Mr. Sun Yat-sen. A well-known calligrapher, activist, and curator in the calligraphy and painting circles. He was awarded the title of "Hundred Outstanding Calligraphers of China" by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
