Personal Profile

Zhao Tonggao, born in 1969, with a junior college degree, joined the Huai'an Calligraphers Association in 1992. Since 2013, he has been professionally studying calligraphy. Through systematic study, his skills have improved significantly. In 2016, he became a member of the Jiangsu Province Calligraphers Association. Zhao Tonggao's calligraphy works have won awards in many domestic competitions. He won the second prize in the 【Yanghe Cup】 National Painting and Calligraphy Competition as early as 1991. Later, he successively won the second prize in the 【Zhengze Cup】 National Calligraphy Competition, the third prize in the 【Wang Xuezhu Cup】 National Calligraphy Competition, the third prize in the Provincial Painting and Calligraphy Competition organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture, the second prize in the Provincial Painting and Calligraphy Competition organized by the Jiangsu Press and Publication Bureau, the third prize in the 【Chinese Dream, My Dream】 National Calligraphy Competition held in Xi'an, participated in the first Shuqian Calligraphy and Cursive Script Exhibition, participated in the 8th Shuqian Painting and Calligraphy Competition, and participated in the 10th Jiangsu Calligraphy Newcomers Exhibition in 2016.
