Profile of Zhao Xiaoping! Zhao Xiaoping was born in Huai'an, Jiangsu in 1965, and settled in Nanjing in 1998. He has successively served as the chairman of the Qixia District Calligraphy and Painting Association of Nanjing, a member of the Political Consultative Conference! In 2010, he joined the China Democratic Promotion Association! In 2011, he held the Zhao Xiaoping Calligraphy Exhibition to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution at the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum Museum in Nanjing! In 2012, he held the Zhao Xiaoping Calligraphy Exhibition Back to Hometown in Huaiyin Institute of Technology in Huai'an City! In 2013, he was selected as one of the Ten Cultural Celebrities in Qixia District of Nanjing! In 2014, he was invited by the International Youth Olympic Games Organizing Committee to hold the Zhao Xiaoping Calligraphy Special Exhibition for the Youth Olympic Games! In 2015, he was awarded the title of Jiangsu Civilization Traffic Image Spokesperson by the Jiangsu Provincial Civilization Office and the Jiangsu Provincial Transportation Department! In 2016, he was invited by the Confucius Institute of America to hold the Jiangling Calligraphy Academy Chinese Artists' Works Exhibition at the University of Maryland in the United States! In 2017, he received the 14th National Moral Model Honor Medal at the Beijing People's Congress Convention Center in Beijing! In 2018, he held the Zhao Xiaoping Calligraphy Exhibition in Beijing to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Reform Achievements at the Chinese Painting Academy in Beijing! In January 2019, he received the China Artist Achievement Award from CCTV! In October 2019, he held the Jiangsu Artworks Exhibition, that is, the Zhao Xiaoping Calligraphy Exhibition in Macao! In 2020, he was granted the title of Public Welfare Artist by China Art Network! At the same time, he was awarded the title of Nanjing Charity Star by the Nanjing Charity Federation!
After the successful holding of the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games in 2014, Nanjing calligraphers initiated the establishment of the Jiangsu Province Running Script Art Research Institute! Due to various factors such as site, funds, and projects during the approval process, it was renamed the Jinling Calligraphy Academy of Qixia District, Nanjing! Briefly called Jinling Calligraphy Academy! In the past five years, from ten people to the total consultants, honorary presidents, presidents, vice-presidents, deputy presidents, secretaries-general, deputy secretaries-general, board members, entrepreneurs, calligraphers and painters, and more than 200 art groups of art enthusiasts! Since its establishment, it has held calligraphy and painting exhibitions dozens of times in Beijing Chinese Painting Academy, University of Maryland in the United States, Confucius Institute in Washington, D.C., Macao Guozhan Center, Nanjing, Huai'an and other places! It has held charity sales and donation activities for more than 10 welfare institutions such as the Nanjing Charity Federation, Jiangning District Love School, and Gulou District Zhongren Nursing Home! President Zhao Xiaoping was rated as a moral model by the "Shining Life" program group of CCTV! He was rated as a Charity Star by the Nanjing Charity Federation!
