      Wu Jishun, born in 1943, has been interested in Chinese painting and calligraphy since childhood due to the influence of his ancestors. In 1960, he studied at the Art High School of Nanjing Institute of Arts, where he was personally taught by Master Chen Dayu. He is currently a member of the China Senior Arts and Calligraphy Research Association, a member of the Jiangsu Artists and Calligraphers Association, and a senior researcher of the Nantong Calligraphy, Painting and Seal Carving Research Association. For decades, he has been accompanied by art and calligraphy, taking them as his joy. His works have been selected in national and provincial city art exhibitions many times, and have won many excellent awards including gold and silver medals. His works have been published and introduced in newspapers such as China Arts and Calligraphy News, Calligraphy News, Art News, and China Arts and Calligraphy Guide, and are deeply loved by many collectors.
