Personal Profile

Huang Shaobo, born in 1971, is from Jiangyin, Jiangsu. His studio name is Yibo Hall. He is a member of the Chinese Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, a member of the Jiangsu Provincial Calligraphers Association, a member of the Wuxi Calligraphers Association, and vice president and secretary-general of the Jiangyin Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, as well as the president of Lijiang Academy. He graduated from the first national hard pen calligraphy teaching elite advanced training class. He has been awarded the title of "100 Outstanding Hard Pen Calligraphers in China in 2018," and in 2019 was granted the title of "Popular Steel Pen Calligrapher" at the First Mochi Cup by the Chinese Seal Carving Magazine. In recent years, his works have been published in many newspapers and magazines such as the Calligraphy News.
