Personal Profile

Gong Xunyun, styled Damao, also known as the Man from Shenzhen, was born in 1962. He is a contemporary master calligrapher, a member of the Asian Pacific Federation of Artists, and an academician of the China Calligraphy Research Institute. Since childhood, he has been passionate about calligraphy and has devoted his life to practicing characters, blending the styles of Wang and Zhao to create his own distinctive Gong style, making significant contributions to the inheritance and promotion of Chinese traditional culture. His ancestral home is in Hunan, and he currently resides in Foshan.
