Personal Profile

Currently a member of the Paper-cutting Art Committee of the Chinese Culture Promotion Society, a member of the Hunan Provincial Association of Folk Artists, a member of the Hunan Paper-cutting Research Society, a standing director of the Yiyang City Arts and Crafts Association, and chairman of the Ziyang District Association of Folk Artists. Her paper-cutting works have participated in national, provincial, and municipal paper-cutting art competitions and won awards; she has twice participated in the Fifth Hunan Province Arts and Crafts Expo and the First Yiyang City Intangible Cultural Heritage Expo. Her multi-colored paper-cuttings exhibit distinct local characteristics and woodblock print effects, and have been included in Yiyang City's Intangible Cultural Heritage List. A dedicated paper-cutting exhibition hall has been established on the second floor of the famous rural village of Ziwei Village, where former Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhang Dejiang and Hunan Provincial Party Secretary Du Jiahao visited the exhibition hall for inspection and took photos together. Her paper-cutting works are widely loved by the general public.
