Personal Profile

Guo Xiaomin, pen name Guo Yize, also known as Master of Xiyige, born in 1968, is from Hunan Province's You County and currently resides long-term in Guangdong's Huizhou City. A professional painter and folk artist, he graduated from the Design Institute of Hunan University of Science and Technology. He is currently a member of the Hunan Artists Association, a council member of the Huizhou City Artists Association, president of the Zhongkai March Wind Painting Academy in the Zhongkai High-Tech Development Zone, a council member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Masters Association, and a member of the Chinese Ethnic Minority Calligraphy and Painting Artists Association. He has also been appointed as a member of the Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee of the China Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Alliance. His works have been repeatedly exhibited and awarded in major domestic and international calligraphy and painting exhibitions.
