Ishiyama

  Shi Gu, pen name Xuefeng Gengren, born in 1961, is a grassroots calligrapher and painter, specializing in landscape paintings reflecting the folk customs of Hunan's rural areas, as well as a seasoned architect and landscape designer, originally from Dongkou, Shaoyang, Hunan. He excels in modern personalized calligraphy, individualistic lotus paintings, and landscapes depicting Hunan’s rural charm. The most distinctive feature of his artworks is their freedom and individuality, exuding refined taste and a masterful demeanor. He was formerly a member of the China Calligraphy and Painting Friendship Association, and his name was once listed by the Beijing Cultural Arts Celebrity Research Center.Beijing. Numerous of his works have been exhibited, awarded, published, collected, and auctioned. He is currently a member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Association, a member of the Hunan Province Bird-and-Flower Painters Association, Vice Secretary-General of the Shaoyang Bird-and-Flower Painters Association, Vice President of the Shaoyang焦墨Art Society, and a member of the Shaoyang Artists Association.
