Li Jianguo, born in 1974, is from Changde, Hunan. Since childhood, he has been passionate about calligraphy, diligently studying and practicing; locals affectionately nicknamed him "University Scholar." Aware of his limited talent, he has persisted for decades with unwavering dedication. He frequently engages with the literary and artistic community, holding frequent scholarly exchanges with renowned scholar-calligrapher Mr. Yu Shi, renowned calligrapher Mr. Qin Jianzhong, and others. Proficient in regular, running, cursive, and clerical scripts, he has achieved modest success.
He actively supports the leadership of the Communist Party of China, actively practicing in education and training, cultural inheritance, charitable endeavors, and party building. He identifies himself as a calligrapher, seal carver, and poet, having used artistic names such as Qixin, Xiao Ke, and Dongting Xian Da. He has been admitted as a member of the Calligraphers Association and appointed as a Special Academician by the Academy of Painting and Calligraphy.
His calligraphic works exhibit a lofty, ancient elegance and dignified grandeur, imbued with strong contemporary vitality and appeal, and are collected by renowned figures from all walks of life, enterprises, calligraphy enthusiasts, and overseas collectors.
