Personal Profile
 Wang Qunying, also known as Xiu Jian, styled Xuefengshanren and Huanglongshanren. Born in 1973 in Xupu County, Hunan Province, with a college diploma. Researcher at the Guilin Academy of Calligraphy and Painting. Since childhood, he has been influenced by his father’s guidance in writing and painting, and later studied and copied ancient masterpieces and stele rubbings, particularly excelling in running script and Wei-style calligraphy. He has won distinguished awards in national competitions such as the National Calligraphy and Painting Competition Commemorating the 60th Anniversary of Lei Feng’s Birth, the First Daxing Canal Culture Wuyishan Garden Cup Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Competition, the First Guilin Hard-Pen Calligraphy Competition, the National Invitation Exhibition and Competition of a Thousand Famous Artists for the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the First National Online Calligraphy and Hard-Pen Calligraphy Competition, and the Second National Online Calligraphy and Hard-Pen Calligraphy Competition. All past achievements are behind me! The artistic path is long and arduous—I will continue to explore and seek!
